US phát hành gần 60% tổng số AAA bonds trên thế giới. Nếu US mất AAA rating, rất nhiều portfolio sẽ phải rebalance, chưa kể những ai dùng US bonds làm collateral có thể sẽ bị margin call tương tự như AIG năm 2008.
